SO...
(the cover art btw looks so fan made LMAOO)
Back in 2006, THQ released the game The Sopranos: Road to Respect, which you know makes sense in a sea of licensed video games back in day, Isn't that much of a surprise. But what is, is that it was exclusively released on the PS2. And even more so, was originally going to be released on the Xbox 360. But was cancelled in July of 2006 because the "Xbox 360 version was looking too much like the PS2 game." Which I guess is fair if you're trying to make a game look as good as possible, especially during this new generation of consoles.

But it is a shame honestly? The game itself wasn't good... Like at all I don't think. From what I hear it's very repetitive, however it's clear there was a form of passion in trying to make a good game.
Like they got the cast who were in the show specifically for this game which honestly you almost never saw in licensed games. It's also a bit wild they even decided to cancel the version for the 360, because most companies would had wanted to have as much profit as possible, like why not release the 360 version? It's clear this game was much more than just a cash grab. Though then again, it could have been because THQ couldn't afford to continue the development of the 360 version. It still would be cool if the Xbox 360 build of this game ever gets found, I'm sure it would have looked the same, just upscaled. And it also gets me thinking like, in a 'caring for 360 games' kinda way that man, we could have gotten a Tony Soprano game. And that would have been sick.
